A Home Full of Love | The Rosario’s Lifestyle & Newborn Session

There are some sessions that stay with you — not just because of the photographs, but because of the feeling. The warmth. The story unfolding quietly in front of your lens.

This in-home lifestyle and newborn session with Alicia, Alex, and their three daughters — Rosilea, Avyanna, and tiny baby Renley — was exactly that.

Originally, this shoot was meant to happen before Renley was born, but as life would have it — with a mix of weather delays, illnesses, and schedule changes — we ended up documenting their story after she arrived. And honestly? The timing couldn’t have been more perfect

Because on this day, with sunlight pouring through their windows and their home filled with laughter, baby snuggles, and the joyful chaos only young children can bring — everything aligned.

Alicia and Alex, recently married (after I had the honor of capturing their engagement), are the kind of couple whose love runs quietly deep. They were calm, connected, and completely in awe of the life they’ve built together. Watching them with their daughters was like watching a love story that keeps expanding — each chapter more beautiful than the last.

Rosilea, the oldest, was gentle and caring — clearly already stepping into the big sister role with grace. Avyanna, not quite two, had other plans. She was absolutely enchanted by her big sister and determined to make this photo session her moment to shine. From dancing around to striking her own little poses, Avyanna brought the fun and spontaneity that made the session feel so real and alive.

And sweet Renley — a fresh soul in this world — was cradled in love from every direction. We made sure to pause and capture every little detail: her wrinkled fingers, her sleepy expressions, the softness that only exists in those first few weeks of life. These are the moments that pass in a blur, and it was a gift to freeze them in time.

Alicia’s mother and grandfather joined us for the session, adding even more meaning. There’s something profoundly beautiful about capturing four generations in one room — laughter bouncing between generations, arms holding babies that carry the legacy of those who came before. Towards the end, the girls had a burst of silliness with their grandma that brought out the biggest smiles — the kind that are felt just as much as seen.

And let’s not forget their two sweet pups, who joined us for the final frames. Because in this house, every member of the family matters. Every heartbeat counts.

This session wasn’t about rushing or perfect poses. It was slow-paced and playful, filled with laughter, snuggles, and a few dance breaks. It was about capturing life as it is: chaotic, sweet, silly, and beautiful. A real snapshot of this family’s love-filled home and the season they’re in right now.

It was Real. Honest. Tender.
It was love, in every form.
And I feel incredibly honored to have been invited in to witness it.

Alicia and Alex still dream of a tropical elopement to celebrate their love, and I already know it will be just as heartfelt and joyful. But this day — with bare feet on the floors, baby blankets crumpled on the couch, and little girls dancing in the living room — this was a celebration in its own right.

A celebration of home.
Of new life.
Of family — exactly as they are.
